Project Overview
Parking on college campuses is perpetually a challenge for academic staff, visitors, and students. The growing student body at Purdue University has resulted in a shortage of parking spaces, causing frustration and loss of time. The project tackles the parking challenges experienced by the Purdue community with user-centric methods that provide meaningful solutions. By involving those who are most affected by the parking issue, we can address the parking problem head on.
My Contributions
The project starts with a focus group to gather input from users about their needs and issues. Then, affinity diagramming is used to organize the data into themes, helping us identify key patterns. This leads to the research phase, where we gather more information, both from existing sources and new user feedback, to better understand the problem. Next is ideation, where we brainstorm and develop potential solutions. Finally, project slides are created to present all the findings, ideas, and solutions clearly. This process ensures everything builds on the previous steps to create a user-focused solution.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
